Welcome to our website!
Spreading and promotion of our project:
We thought and re-imagined our work to be as interesting as possible, and so something so supposedly interesting needs to be out in the world itself. With all that, we thought in what ways our project could be shared and spread, and it can be shared in some ways, such as:

And last but not least, this website itself.
Welcome to our website! This is a website about our school project , we may seem small, but with this website, we intend to spread our ideas and projects to the world itself.

We are a group of three portuguese students that are in a new subject in our high school Secundária de Mem Martins, called CLT. What is CLT? Well, it's a new subject that adopts the educational method of Colleges and Universities using the project method. For every term in our academic year, we have to make a project and a presentation which will contain most of our work of the term. This website is the assemble of all of our work during this year, and we are very proud to be showing it to you!

And what is our project about? We will answer that in no time!
Our Project:
Our Project consists is two main subjects very different from each other. In the first term we chose to talk about Radioactivity, what it is and its effects on the environmment and health, and in the second and third terms we chose to talk about something more interesting and captivating: Gravitational Waves and its revolutionary detectors.

We researched a lot and made three main presentations during this academic year about these topics, which everything related to them will be available on this website, including our research, videos, reflections and thoughts and much more!
But we didn't do this by ourselves only... It was all thanks to the teachers who offered to help us during this wonderful journey!
Before moving on to the real business, we all need to give our appreciation to all of the things that the teachers did for us during this exciting year. Creating a new subject from scratch is more difficult than it seems, especially if it is so well organized and scheduled, and because of that we need to say thank you. Thank you for being there when we needed, thank you for all support and ideas that you gave us, without them we wouldn't be here. Thank you for all of the hard work that you did for us! Thank you for being in this journey with us.

In this lovely adventure, we learned unique and very useful skills that will be needed for later in our lives; we learned how to research, how to do a true presentation, all of this while using and improving all of our English Skills as well as our technologic skills . Being a student is hard, but we can't imagine how hard being a teacher is... We must appreciate that now more than ever.
